Hi Desiree, You can find some jump rope trick ideas from free online videos. Youtube.com, jumpropevideos.com and http://www.42explore.com/rope.htm have videos of jump rope tricks of various skill levels that may be helpful.
Thank you for your comment. Good luck on the talent show!

-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHi Donna - there are links on the site. Mostly it's just persistence. I do have some specific moves to affect specific muscles areas, but they evolved out of jumping. The only things I had to concentrate on learning were crossovers and doubles - and for doubles, by the time I got around to learning them the only difficult part was the timing.
There's a link in the middle of the home page to 'Exercises'. Also you can see the latest videos by going clicking on the 'You Tube Home Page' link and then selecting the '- Latest Workout' Playlist on my You Tube Home Page.

I checked out a couple of your videos. Do you do any instructional jump rope videos? You certainly portray the energy you promote!
-- Contributed by: Donna SundbladHi, I'm 61 and anxious to try out some of these tricks. To find my own search for 'questforendorphins', - I try to promote "Energy Focused Exercise". My favorite 'exercise' and what I use to demonstrate fitness and agility is what I call "JumpRock", which is jumping to music and dancing instead of staying in one place. Lots of videos on the site / YouTube. I'd love to hear comments. Everything is free; I want to be famous for being old, able to jump rope better than anyone over let's say 55 (which is when I started jumping rope), and demonstrating why I think almost anyone can do the same.
